| I already have a will - should I change it? |
People's lives are always changing. A significant life event may be a good reason to review your will or even your entire estate plan. If you are separated or if you are divorcing, it would be a good idea to revise your will. If you have a new child, you should consider changing your will to reflect the change in your life. If you are marrying and one or both of you have children from a prior relationship, you should consider having a new will prepared. If your spouse has recently passed away, you should probably have your will changed. A will is a good document to have as part of an estate plan. Unfortunately, wills are fixed in time: they may be appropriately drafted at the time that they are written, but lives never stay perfectly stable. Life is always changing. If you have not had your will reviewed for a number of years, you should review it and ask yourself whether anything significant has changed since you last had your will drawn up. Part of this review process should involve a consultation with an attorney, and you can take advantage of a free consultation with one of our attorneys to help you through this process.
Call one of our attorneys today at (717) 848-8455 today to set up a free, no-risk consultation to discuss whether your will still fits your circumstances and to review all of your your particular estate planning needs. |
