A "Living Will" is a document that deals with what sort of medical care you wish to receive if you cannot communicate or if you cannot understand medical treatement options and if you have an "end stage medical condition" or if you are permanently unconscious. You can provide for additional medical treatment or simply provide that you will be kept comfortable. You can provide for whether you receive food and water. The Living Will provisions under Pennsylvania law recently changed (at the end of 2006), and you may wish to have us review your current living will or you may want us to create one to go with a will or estate plan.
